Located in the political epicenter of the State of New York, The War Room Tavern will embrace the culture, cuisine, and political history of New York in a chic and upscale restaurant.
Built into a 1890s-era brownstone located in the shadow of the historic Capitol building, the War Room has been dubbed the
“Planet Hollywood of State Politics.”
Using memorabilia, icons, symbols, and artifacts from political campaigns of the past, The War Room Tavern displays a shoulder mount of a 2,000 lb. Bull Moose - a nod to the iconic Governor and President of the United States, Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt.
After formerly owning his own sushi establishment in the City of Albany for over a decade, renowned chef Saso took a step away from his award-winning craft.
In a long-awaited return to the kitchen to serve hungry Albany residents, visitors, and powerbrokers, The War Room will now serve a menu of Japanese staple dishes.
In the shadow of the historic New York State Capitol, Todd’s Back Room is the only cigar lounge within the bounds of the City of Albany. The lounge is a refuge for cigar enthusiasts, aficionados, and others who seek to relax in a welcoming atmosphere.
Lined with over-stuffed, leather armchairs and couches, the three-story Todd’s Back Room Cigar Lounge is a welcoming environment for Albany residents, tourists, and powerbrokers seeking to unwind.
